East of England

East Anglia is one of the drier regions of the UK, with some areas averaging only around 460 mm of rain per year and 120 or so rain days. Here in Colkirk we can expect around 600 mm of rain though. Contrast this with parts of Cornwall which averages 1200 to 1500 mm, or areas of central Wales which experience over 4 metres and 200 rain days in a year!

Average temperature variations across the UK are far less dramatic but again East Anglia is one of the warmest with a average annual day+night temperature of around 10 degrees Celsius.
