Caroline and I were born in north
Norfolk, England, but moved out of county when we got married. The next 35
years or so were spent in the Midlands, both initially working for a
multi-national diesel engine manufacturer, Caroline as a PA and myself as
a metallurgist. Later I joined a company specialising in a chemical
analysis technique known as X-ray Microanalysis, used by electron
microscopists. |
